Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a Farm Quality & Compliance Auditor in the North West region to lead due-diligence, residue testing, and supplier audits across farming operations.

You will ensure testing aligns with customer and industry requirements, investigate pesticide concerns, and maintain robust food-safety systems while training farm staff and collaborating with retailer teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HACCP and compliance systems.
• Good understanding of GlobalG.A.P and related schemes.
• Familiarity with BRC requirements and SIZA standards.
• Experience in farming environments and with residue testing.
• Experience managing audits and supplier compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all farming due-diligence activities.
• Oversee the residue-testing programme.

• Manage the supplier audit programme.
• Conduct food-safety and ethical audits.
• Complete Select Farm audits when required.
• Maintain effective food-safety systems and procedures.
• Address food-safety issues quickly and effectively.
• Build strong relationships with supplier technical teams.
• Support the approval of new suppliers.
• Assist suppliers with quality improvement.
• Support new product and variety development.
• Monitor changes in pesticide and residue regulations.
• Keep the business informed of new retailer requirements.
• Manage retailer pesticide approvals.
• Liaise with retailers as needed.
• Support customer visits to farms and suppliers.
• Implement the supply-base environmental strategy.
• Maintain accurate environmental data.
• Review and organise incoming documentation.
• Check documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Follow up with internal teams for outstanding documents.
• Maintain an organised document-storage system.
• Ensure documents are easy to retrieve.
• Implement relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain required farm audit ratings.
• Train and support farm staff.
• Conduct regular staff meetings.
• Promote best practices across the farm.
