Job summary

Kemin in South Africa is seeking an experienced Technical Manager for Monogastric Nutrition to lead technical strategy and support customer success across Sub-Saharan Africa. As the regional technical expert, you will collaborate with customers, nutritionists, distributors, product managers and sales teams to deliver practical nutritional solutions that improve animal performance and profitability.

Fluent English required.

Qualifications

Minimum BSc (Agric) in Animal Science; MSc in Animal Nutrition preferred.
At least 5 years of related experience.
Strong expertise in monogastric nutrition, feed formulation, and feed additives.
Scientific curiosity with a customer-focused mindset.
Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership in monogastric nutrition and feed additives.
Support product launches and commercial growth initiatives with technical input.
Design, manage, and interpret research and commercial validation trials.
Translate findings into practical recommendations and technical reports.
Deliver training and technical support to customers and sales teams.
Develop nutritional tools and feed formulations.
Represent Kemin at events and industry forums.
Build relationships with universities, consultants, and key stakeholders.
