Job summary

Izwe Placements is seeking a Technical & Extrusion Supervisor to lead production teams in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes supervision, planning, quality control and process improvement, with training provided for extrusion or machine setting tasks.

Applicants should have a valid driving licence and experience with ERP or manufacturing software. Salary negotiable based on experience and skill.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience supervising production teams.
• Experience in production planning, quality control, inventory management, or process improvement.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications is advantageous.
• Experience with ERP or manufacturing software is beneficial.
• Previous extrusion or machine setting experience is not essential, as comprehensive in house training will be provided.
• Valid Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production teams and ensure safety and productivity targets are met.
• Assist in production planning, quality control, inventory management and process improvements.
• Interpret/review technical drawings and specifications to support manufacturing.
• Utilise ERP or manufacturing software to track production data and efficiency.
• Participate in training on extrusion/machining tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with training and licensing requirements.
