Applicants should possess a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 3–6 years of design experience. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and strong coordination skills are essential. This role requires relocation to the Netherlands, with strong support including training and social events.

Research-Square is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary technical services provider delivering complex projects in energy, industrial environments and large-scale infrastructure, with strong expertise in smart building and digital solutions.

The company delivers integrated engineering, procurement and construction solutions for complex industrial environments. Projects range from high-tech production facilities and utilities to energy infrastructure and heavy industry installations.

We are hiring a Technical Designer / BIM Coordinator (Medior level) to strengthen the Civil & Structural department within the Industrial Projects division.

In this role, you will work in a highly technical, execution-driven environment where engineering and realization go hand in hand. You will contribute to both detailed civil/structural design and multidisciplinary BIM coordination for complex buildings and infrastructure.

In this role you will:

• Design civil and structural constructions (steel, concrete)
• Develop preliminary designs into final and detailed execution designs
• Create floor plans, details and technical drawings in 2D and 3D
• Collaborate with structural engineers, project managers and fellow modelers
• Coordinate BIM projects within multidisciplinary teams (Civil/Structural, Piping/Mechanical, E&I)
• Review models for quality, clashes and consistency
• Contribute to the as-built model after project completion

We're looking for someone experienced with as much of the following as possible:

• Education: Bachelor in Civil Engineering or similar
• Experience: 3–6 years in civil/structural design
• Software: Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks (concrete & steel detailing)
• BIM platforms: BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Dalux
• Soft skills: Strong coordination and communication skills
• Mindset: pro-active and quality focused
• Language: Fluent English and proficient in Afrikaans
