Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is assisting a Booysens-based client in finding a detail-oriented Technical Buyer to join their energetic team in Johannesburg. The role involves sourcing goods, obtaining supplier quotations, coordinating logistics, preparing Excel quotations, and handling export documentation including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading and Air Waybills.

You will liaise with clients, suppliers and freight forwarders, maintain stock reports and support order status

Formación

• Relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
• Strong Advanced Excel and numerical skills required.
• Experience with exports into Africa is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Sourcing goods and obtaining supplier quotations.
• Coordinating logistics and obtaining freight estimates.
• Preparing Excel quotation spreadsheets and presentations.
• Processing orders with clients and suppliers.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, freight forwarders and inspection companies.
• Coordinating exports and third-party inspections.
• Preparing export documentation including invoices and packing lists.
• Obtaining shipping documents including Bills of Lading and Air Waybills.
• Following up on outstanding issues and updating clients on order status.
• Preparing and maintaining stock reports.
