Placements24 is seeking a specialized Recruitment Consultant focused on technology to connect leading Gauteng companies with top IT talent. You will manage end-to-end recruitment for software developers, data scientists, IT project managers, and cybersecurity experts, sourcing candidates via LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche boards.

The role requires 4+ years in tech recruitment, excellent communication, and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years in recruitment with tech specialization.
• Experience recruiting for diverse IT roles and understanding technical requirements.
• Familiarity with SA tech market and talent pools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment for technology roles (developers, data scientists, IT PMs, cybersecurity).
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche tech boards; conduct technical and behavioral screenings.
• Build and maintain a network of IT professionals and key tech company relationships.
• Advise clients on market trends, salary expectations, and recruitment strategies for tech roles.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
