Job summary

You will translate complex tech decisions into clear financial insights to drive investment priorities and cost optimisation.

Responsibilities include building cost transparency, business-case evaluation, benefits realisation and executive reporting using Power BI and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Finance and commercial expertise with FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to develop and challenge business cases for technology investments.
• Strong understanding of TCO, cost allocation and benefits realisation.
• Experience with Capex/Opex and vendor cost analysis.
• Familiarity with TBM concepts and FinOps/cloud economics.

Responsibilities

• Own technology financial planning, forecasting and performance management.
• Develop transparency of technology costs across apps, platforms and vendors.
• Partner on investment prioritisation for cloud migration and platform modernisation.
• Evaluate build vs buy, migrate vs retain and related cash-flow implications.
• Create executive dashboards linking tech KPIs and financial metrics.
• Challenge licences, pricing and contract economics with vendors.
