Job summary

FNB is seeking to fill opportunities in Botshabelo/Thaba Nchu for a Branch Advisor in our POP talent pool. The role focuses on providing compliant, professional financial advice to walk-in and existing clients in a high-volume branch environment, while helping clients choose banking solutions and maintaining records in line with FAIS, FICA and TCF.

As part of the Branch Advisor Talent Pool, your profile will be considered for upcoming openings across Botshabelo/Thaba Nchu and nearby communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: Grade 12/ NQF Level 4
• Preferred Qualification: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields recognized by FAIS
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth
• Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to customer transactional needs and expectations
• Educate customers to the correct Banking platform aligned with their needs

The Branch Advisor role is a critical client-facing position responsible for providing compliant, professional financial advice to both walk-in and existing clients within a high-volume branch environment. The role focuses on understanding clients’ financial needs, recommending appropriate banking and financial solutions, managing client relationships, and ensuring all interactions align with FAIS, FICA, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, and FNB governance standards.

Qualification & Experience Requirement

• Minimum Qualification: Grade 12/ NQF Level 4

• 1–3 years of experience in customer‑facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services
