Job summary

Requirements include Grade 12, PSIRA Grade B, and firearms handling, with a minimum of four years in security. The role emphasizes safety, discipline, and professional conduct in a mining environment.

Qualifications

• PSIRA Grade B registered and in good standing.
• Knowledge of Firearms Control Act and security procedures.
• Minimum 4 years’ security experience, including tactical response.

Responsibilities

• Patrol, protect, and secure personnel, assets, infrastructure, and areas within area of responsibility.
• Execute tactical response activities and emergency drills.
• Support investigations into security incidents and transgressions.
• Provide security support in high-risk situations including industrial action and VIP protection.
• Liaise with SAPS and internal security teams; report incidents and actions taken.
