Job summary

FirstRand Bank India seeks an internal consultant for end-to-end production and project support across applications. You will liaise with business analysts, development teams, users, project teams and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and improved performance.

The role emphasizes translating business requirements into technology solutions, developing roadmaps aligned with objectives, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships within the change process.

Responsibilities

• liaise with Business Analysts, development teams, business users, project teams and vendors to provide end-to-end production and project support for all applications in production
• promote shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and enhance information flows
• ensure roadmaps have targets and validated against business objectives
• translate business requirements into suitable technology solutions
• develop roadmaps in line with stakeholder needs and change processes
• coordinate annual roadmap working sessions
• align BT priorities with business partner needs and validate targets
• build trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders
• inform and assist with queries from business stakeholders
• communicate proactively to manage expectations
• manage and deliver on projects and provide feedback
• manage project resources to ensure delivery
• advise on best practices when designing solutions
• assist in translating strategic decisions into business solutions
• participate in building a long-term IT infrastructure roadmap
• adhere to SDLC processes with a consistent framework
• prepare documents for solution design meeting system and security requirements
• produce requirement specifications, technical docs, test packs and training material
• contribute input into budgeting process
• plan and manage own workflow and priorities
