Responsibilities

• Drive business profitability in cost management through IT solutions.
• Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness.
• Deliver exceptional service by resolving queries fast with proactive, innovative solutions.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with stakeholders including end-users, SMEs, project managers and senior staff by providing input to business requirements.
• Provide second-line standby and complex problem resolution by interfacing with vendor support to resolve complex configurations.
• Work with management to develop database strategies to support company needs and improve performance.
• Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives and industry practices applicable to the role.
• Ensure drafting and implementation of appropriate interventions.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Explore ways to constantly improve quality of existing services, processes and systems to be more efficient.
• Advise management on effective applications regarding Maintenance, Support, Man-machine interfaces and Data management.
• Manage system enhancements through implementations and changes after testing.
• Define host software products and ensure availability of host software.
• Explore ways to continually improve quality of services and processes to be more efficient.
• Manage own development to increase competencies.
• Obtain and sustain in-depth system/application knowledge to maximise contribution to the role.
