Job summary

PBT Group is seeking an experienced System Analyst to join a dynamic delivery team on a contract basis. You will bridge business requirements and technology solutions, working with stakeholders, developers, architects and testers to analyse problems and design robust system solutions.

This role requires producing detailed functional and technical documentation, and collaborating in Agile or Waterfall environments. Banking/Financial services experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
• Proven experience producing detailed functional and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems and system integration.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
• Banking or Financial Services experience is highly advantageous.

• Support solution clarification during development and testing.
• Assist with defect analysis and production support where required.
• Ensure solution documentation remains accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Systems Analysis

Engage with business stakeholders to understand, analyse and document business requirements.

Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical solution designs.

Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.

Identify solution options and recommend the most appropriate approach.

Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.

Solution Design

Produce comprehensive functional and technical specifications.
