Our client, a major player in the retail and distribution sector, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Supply Chain Director to lead their operations from their primary distribution hub in Klerksdorp, North West . This executive role demands a comprehensive understanding of global supply chain management, logistics, procurement, and inventory optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient supply chain strategies that support the company's growth objectives, enhance customer satisfaction, and reduce operational costs. Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-site supply chains.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics, warehousing, procurement, inventory control, and transportation management.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM, JDA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
• Experience in the retail or FMCG sector is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the operational landscape in the North West province.
