Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree or 3-4 years relevant experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis in planning systems.
• Experience in supply chain or production planning within manufacturing.
• Exposure to Food & Beverage environments is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with RELEX or similar tools (SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis).

Now building a specialist capability in Cape Town a team who is focusing on manufacturing planning within the Food & Beverage sector, helping clients optimise production, inventory, and supply in complex, fast-moving environments.

Role Overview

Excited to now be expanding our RELEX capability and are hiring Solutions Consultants to support delivery across manufacturing-focused implementations and ongoing system optimisation.

These roles will work closely with clients to design, configure with SQL, debug existing code and implement RELEX solutions across demand, supply, and production planning in Food & Bev environments - where shelf-life, variability, and operational constraints are critical. You will be working with existing live implementations and optimising current SQL configuration.

Location

This is a hybrid role based in Cape Town approx. 3 days in the office 8-5pm. If you’re applying from another location, please be aware relocation to Cape Town will be required and would need to be arranged personally.

Role Description

• Support customers throughout the full lifecycle: from purchase to go-live and ongoing continuous service.
• Lead and participate in customer workshops and calls, including design, configuration, and playback sessions.
• Provide expert advice on software and Supply Chain Management to deliver added value.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective processes and solutions.
• Own and manage the configuration plan, integrate it into project plans, provide time estimates, and elevate delays.
• Design and consult on changes to business logic and system configuration.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure customer success.
• Lead and participate in customer workshops and calls, including design, configuration, and playback sessions.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines technical solutions expertise, consulting know-how, and strong client empathy. You don't have to tick every box but would ideally have:

• Excellent knowledge of SQL for basic data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting within planning systems
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or 3 to 4 years relevant experience working with retail customers and with retail planning processes.
• Experience in supply chain or production planning within manufacturing
• Exposure to Food & Beverage environments (advantageous)
• Hands-on experience with RELEX or similar tools (e.g. SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis)
• Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory, and production planning
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to bridge business needs and technical configuration
