Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their FMCG client in Rustenburg, North West. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a supply chain analyst or similar role, preferably FMCG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, and data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data, including inventory levels, logistics costs, supplier performance and demand forecasts, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track KPIs for the supply chain.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
• Assist in demand planning and inventory management to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to supply chain processes, systems, and technologies.
• Monitor supplier performance and work with procurement to resolve issues.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain initiatives and projects.
