The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for daily supervision of the entire HPC site warehousing and distribution functions; including goods receiving, good issuing, distribution, returns, stock counting and stock management policies/procedures.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Logistics or Supply chain management diploma is essential.

Experience

• 2-3 years previous experience in logistics/warehouse
• 1-2 years supervisory experience is essential
• Computer literacy, particularly Excel, is essential
• Good working knowledge of Great Plains Stock Modules
• FMCG experience is an advantage
• Forklift license is an advantage

Key Outputs

• Supervision of all warehousing and distribution functions.
• Supervise the warehouse team in a manner that promotes a harmonious working environment.
• General Housekeeping to be done daily, weekly, and monthly as per cleaning schedule including 5s.
• Carry out all goods receipts, transfers, and invoicing on Great Plains.
• Maintain all relevant documentation, checklists and registers daily.
• Supervision of all truck loading and unloading including containers.
• Supervise and ensure proper stock management, warehouse space allocation, FIFO, stock rotation.
• Lead daily Invocoms.
• Report issues and risks to the site management.
• Assist the Supply Chain Planning Team to proactively manage service levels so that they stay on target.
• Liaison with national replenishment to ensure the correct stock is replenished timeously.
• Co-ordinate and run daily cycle count and investigate variances.
• Supervise the monthly stock counts and variance investigations.
• Maintain all site policies and procedures and ensure compliance thereto.
• Supervision and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring compliance to Health and Safety regulations.
• Initiate the necessary disciplinary and corrective action steps when required.
• Ensure that all staff understand clearly what their duties are and that their productivity levels conform to the job requirements.
