Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Warehouse/Stores Supervisor to ensure incoming product and packaging are accurately ordered, received, stored and supplied to production according to the production plan.

You will coordinate with finance, production, quality, maintenance and despatch to ensure timeous delivery of raw materials and packaging, maintain optimal stock levels and arrange efficient storage with FIFO where possible, while prioritising safety and accuracy in paperwork.

Qualifications

• Grade 12.
• Tertiary qualification in Administration would be an advantage.
• Understanding of Stock Control/Counting, warehouse and Inventory Management
• 2-3 years of Supervisory experience
• Fully computer literate
• Excellent communication and people skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate production planning program together with finance, production, quality, maintenance and despatch
• Ensure timeous delivery of ordered raw materials and packaging to be able to supply production to produce according to production plan
• Effectively source materials, consumables and spare parts from approved suppliers and maintain the engineering store at minimum optimal level.
• Making sure critical spares for machinery are available maintaining inventory to minimize operational downtime in the factory.
• Plan store space efficiently for deliveries and movement of raw material and packaging (apply FIFO where possible)
• Supervise receiving of raw product and packaging according to quality standards and ensure accurate paperwork accompanied
• Arrange preparation of raw product and packaging for production according to production needs
