Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Paarl seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to manage and supervise receiving and storage of raw materials, packaging and ingredients for Production. The role ensures food safety and quality standards are met, records are accurately kept, and materials are available on time for production.

You will lead store staff, allocate tasks, monitor daily performance and ensure compliance with health, safety and housekeeping standards. Closing date 18 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Basic computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock counts.
• Manage warehouse movements and stock counting.
• Understand and apply FIFO stock rotation.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate low stocks to foreman.
• Lead, train and supervise receiving store staff.
• Ensure documentation is up to date and stored properly.
• Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene in storage areas.

Job Purpose

To manage and supervise the receiving and storage of raw materials, packaging and ingredients for the Production department. Ensuring all products meets the Food safety and quality standards, are properly recorded and made available to production on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate record of inventory (stock take) – stock controlling.
• Manage Warehouse movements - Inventory & stock counting.
• Understand shelf-life dates (FIFO).
• Monitoring stock levels (FIFO).
• Lead train and supervise receiving store Staff.
• Allocate tasks and monitor daily performance.
• Ensure that product, raw material, packaging are recorded correctly and stored at correct area after receiving.
• Oversee storage of goods in designated areas following company procedures.
• Good housekeeping by maintaining good standard hygiene and quality.
• Strong Supervisory and administration duties.
• Ensure all documentation is up to date and completed at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure that low stocks/out of stocks are communicated to foreman and procurement

Experience and Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Supervisory experience
• Computer literacy
• Forklift license will be an advantage
