Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to load stock, receive replenishments, and position goods in designated areas.

The role requires a Grade 12, a valid forklift license, and 1–2 years of FMCG warehouse experience. You will perform pre-operation checks, move pallets, ensure loads are secure, and support stock management in a pressurized factory environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Forklift license required.
• 1–2 years of FMCG warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain forklift neatness and perform pre-operation checks.
• Load and offload trucks and move pallet materials around site.
• Transport and stack raw materials and packaging materials, following FIFO.
• Ensure loads are secure and carry out basic maintenance and housekeeping.
• Follow written instructions and keep accurate records.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and assist with stock counts.

Job Purpose

Loading stock within the department. Receiving and placing replenishment stock, in designated areas

Key Responsibilities

• Neatness of Forklift
• Load and offload of trucks
• Transport and stack raw materials
• Housekeeping
• Pre-operation checks and reporting issues.
• Moving pallet packed materials around the site or storage facility.
• Checking and ensuring loads are secure.
• Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Following written instructions and keeping records.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
• Ad hoc tasks
• Transport and stack raw& packaging materials following FIFO
• Assist with stock count
• Ensuring all items are stored in correct locations

Experience And Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position in the FMCG environment
