Job summary

Placements24 invites a seasoned Subsea Engineer to join a global Oil & Gas leader in Vereeniging. You will lead design and integrity management for subsea pipelines, ensuring compliance with international codes.

Qualifications

Master's degree required with subsea engineering or pipelines specialization.
Minimum 8 years in subsea pipeline engineering and integrity management in Oil & Gas.
Strong knowledge of subsea pipeline design principles, materials, and fabrication.

Responsibilities

Design subsea pipelines, risers, and related structures.
Perform pipeline integrity assessments (corrosion, fatigue, FFS).
Develop and review pipeline design specs, procedures, and calculations.
Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulatory requirements (DNV, API, ISO).
Collaborate with offshore construction teams during project execution.
Provide expert advice on subsea engineering and risk assessments (HAZID/HAZOP).
Analyze survey data for route selection and pipeline protection.
Manage vendors for subsea equipment and services.
Contribute to lifecycle integrity management strategies for subsea assets.
