Job summary

The Good Human (Pty)Ltd in Johannesburg seeks a Studio Manager - Creative to lead the in-house creative studio, shaping the brand's voice across multiple units. You will guide campaigns, oversee output across ATL, social, digital and OOH, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver standout work.

You will mentor a designer and copywriter, foster a fast-paced, culture-driven team, and help elevate brand storytelling with bold, culturally resonant creations.

Qualifications

• A degree in marketing, creative or liberal arts discipline.
• 7-10 years in an advertising agency or creative environment.
• Experience mentoring and managing creative teams.
• Expertise across brand and performance creative on digital and traditional platforms.
• A demonstrable portfolio showing storytelling and brand objectives.
• Confident communicator and presenter at all levels.
• Energized by fast-paced, complex, multi-touchpoint environments.
• Broad cultural palette for work across multiple audiences.
• Ability to manage and plan multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction of the brand communications across units and touchpoints.
• Oversee the development and timely execution of world-class creative outputs across promotions, POS, campaigns, ATL, social, OOH and performance channels.
• Create bold, culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with the audience and drive visits to properties.
• Contribute to the look, feel and expression of the loyalty program, growing enrolment and frequency of use.
• Collaborate with brand, digital, business unit and property teams to translate briefs into compelling and standout creative.
• Develop and maintain creative standards & frameworks for advertising and communication content that draws the brand thread between all communications.
• Manage a designer and a copywriter and build a collaborative team with freedom to create breakthrough work.
