Job Description - Summary
The Student Success Advisor works within institutional guidelines and College policies to provide a learning-centered advising experience for students. With a focus on student success, exceptional communication and customer service, the Advisor works with prospective students as they transition to the College, and works with current students as they matriculate through their program of study.
HOURS : Vary based on duties in and out of the office. At least one day per week: 9:00 am – 6:00pm.

The position reports to the Associate Dean of Student Services and has the following responsibilities:

Required Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree related to student development, counseling, human services, education, or an academic related field. Experience/proficiency in the use of various software packages, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize duties
Preferred Qualifications
Academic advising experience in an educational setting. Working knowledge of the Completion by Design and Achieving the Dream initiatives.
