• Organize and maintain softball uniforms, practice gear, and related supplies.
• Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and properly storing athletic equipment and materials.
• Help prepare course materials, instructional resources, and equipment for Physical Education classes.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of facilities and equipment for classes, practices, and other program activities.
• Perform limited computer and administrative tasks, including organizing information, preparing documents, and updating program materials.
• Assist with promoting Physical Education and softball program goals, activities, and outreach efforts.
• Support the development and distribution of program-related materials as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Job Description - Summary

The Student Physical Education & Softball Program Assistant will support the Physical Education Department and Softball Program with a variety of organizational, operational, instructional, and administrative tasks. This position provides an opportunity for a student to gain practical experience working within an educational and athletic environment while developing skills in organization, communication, teamwork, and program support.

* Students must be enrolled in AT LEAST 6 credit hours to qualify for FWS Program
This is a part-time opportunity. Students may work up to 15 hours per week, depending on their unmet need on their FASFA .

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Demands

Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload athletic equipment and supplies as required. Work may take place in classrooms, athletic facilities, offices, storage areas, and outdoor fields. The position may involve physical activity, including moving and organizing equipment and assisting with setup and breakdown of athletic activities

* On and off campus (fisher river park) at $16.50 per hour
