Job summary

Honey Recruitment Specialists is seeking a proactive Student Residence Coordinator for Belpark House, Bellville. The role involves daily administration, security oversight, maintenance coordination, and student housing management to ensure smooth residence operations.

You will liaise with management, guards, and university contacts, keeping records up to date and coordinating monthly activities and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Check in with Management via email every morning.
• Conduct twice-daily residence walk-throughs (inside and outside).
• Ensure proper handover between guards shifts.
• Attend daily meetings with Maintenance, Security, and Cleaners.
• Forward all claim reports to Management; reconcile petty cash daily.
• Publish staff time registers and respond to emails/phone calls within 12 hours.
• Refer correspondence to Management; ensure signatures in common areas.
• Maintain notice boards; arrange monthly RSA/house committee meetings.
• Prepare weekly maintenance reports; request repairs when needed.
• Ensure Wi‑Fi and DSTV are operational daily and safeguard valuables.
