Placements24 seeks a seasoned Structural Engineer to design, analyze and supervise structural elements for industrial facilities, bridges and commercial buildings in Richards Bay. You will produce detailed drawings, calculations and reports, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure code compliance and project success.

The ideal candidate has a strong theoretical foundation, 10+ years of experience, Pr.Eng registration, and proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and Revit Structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design and project delivery.
• Experience with steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and Revit Structure.
• Solid knowledge of SANS and international codes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Experience working in KwaZulu-Natal, especially Richards Bay, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and specify structural systems for a wide range of construction projects.
