Placements24 is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our client’s Paarl, Western Cape, focused on residential, commercial, and industrial building design.

You will perform structural analysis, develop design calculations, and prepare drawings and specifications for construction, collaborating with architects, contractors, and other consultants. This is an office-based role in Paarl with a strong emphasis on team interaction.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• PE or Pr. Eng designation is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural design of buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for new buildings and modifications.
• Produce detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Ensure designs comply with SANS codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, PMs, and contractors throughout design and construction.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their reputable firm in Paarl, Western Cape. This role is focused on the structural design of various building typologies, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures. You will be responsible for performing structural analysis, developing design calculations, and producing detailed drawings and specifications for construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, proficiency with relevant software, and a keen eye for detail.
