About the Role

Our client, a well-established engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their team in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role focuses on the detailed design of structural systems for a variety of building projects, from residential to commercial and industrial. You will be responsible for performing complex structural analyses, producing detailed design drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles and a proven ability to manage design aspects of projects effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types using advanced software.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design of buildings.
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Revit).
