Placements24 seeks a skilled Structural Civil Engineer for its Stellenbosch team, focusing on design and analysis of structural components across commercial, industrial, and residential projects from concept to construction documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a BEng/BSc or MEng/MSc in Civil Engineering, is registered or eligible with ECSA, and has at least seven years of experience with concrete, steel and masonry structures, using SAP2000, ETABS and Revit Structure.

Qualifications

• BEng/BSc or MEng/MSc in Civil Engineering with a Structural specialization.
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr. Eng or eligible.
• Minimum 7 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Experience in concrete, steel and masonry design.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a renowned engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Structural Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role is critical for the design and analysis of structural components for a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential complexes. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, integrity, and efficiency of structural designs, from conceptualization through to construction documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of structural mechanics, materials science, and building codes, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types and infrastructure projects.

Requirements
