Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled Structural Draughtsperson to translate complex structural designs into detailed drawings and models. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and conformity with project standards in a hybrid office/remote setup.

The role requires a National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Draughting, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong AutoCAD proficiency. Knowledge of Revit or BIM is a plus for coordinating with the project team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Structural Draughtsperson.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).
• Good understanding of structural principles, materials and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural drawings (foundation plans, framing layouts, connection details) in AutoCAD.
• Create 3D models and construction documentation from sketches and calculations.
• Coordinate with structural engineers to review design changes and revisions.
• Prepare schedules for materials, components and finishes as required.
• Maintain organized drawing archives and support tender/submittal preparations.
