Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Structural Draughtsperson in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally Revit or other 3D modeling software.
• Understanding of structural engineering principles and terminology.
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and specifications accurately.
• Familiarity with South African building regulations and standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software.
• Develop 3D models of structural components and systems.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with structural engineers to understand design intent and incorporate revisions.
• Prepare drawing lists, schedules, and other related documentation.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing archives.
• Assist in site visits when required to clarify design details or gather site information.
