Placements24 is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer in George to lead design and analysis for commercial and industrial buildings. You will ensure structural integrity from design through construction, collaborating with architects and site teams in the Western Cape.

The ideal candidate has a BEng or BSc Eng in Civil/Structural Engineering, Pr Eng registration with ECSA, and at least 6 years of relevant experience, including proficiency with SAP2000/ETABS/Revit Structure.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc Eng in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• At least 6 years of relevant structural engineering experience in building projects.
• Experience with structural analysis software SAP2000, ETABS or Revit Structure.
• Knowledge of concrete, steel, and masonry construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for new building projects and renovations.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using relevant software.
• Ensure designs comply with South African National Standards (SANS) and building regulations.
