Job summary

Abantu Staffing Solutions in East London is seeking a Logistics -- Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, dispatching and delivery of stock to stores. You will lead a team of approximately 120 staff and manage costs in line with the annual budget.

The role requires a Grade 12, a logistics/warehousing diploma, 5–10 years in a similar role, and a Code 08 driver’s license. Computer literacy is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completion is required.
• Diploma/certificate in logistics/warehousing is advantageous.
• 5–10 years in a similar role.
• Clothing retail experience advantageous.
• Valid Code 08 unendorsed driver’s license.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock flow through warehouse is efficient with accuracy.
• Liaise with buying, finance and operations to maximize stock flow.
• Meet receiving, picking, packing and shipping deadlines.
• Manage stock records, IBTs, discrepancies and WHS returns.
• Identify and minimise warehouse risk areas.
• Control stock losses with departments and accountability.
• Plan staffing and scheduling in line with budgets.
• Oversee fleet management and external transporters for cost efficiency.
• Procure supplies and manage distribution to stores.
• Report to CEO as part of EXCO.
