Job summary

Work Africa in East London is seeking a Logistics – Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all operations and administration of the distribution warehouse, including receiving, processing, dispatching and delivery of stock through to stores. Travel is limited but may occur should there be a business need.

The role requires strong leadership, 5–10 years in a similar position, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and flexibility to adapt to operational changes are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Diploma or certificate in logistics/warehousing is advantageous.
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel and Outlook.
• Strong leadership with proven staff management ability.
• Valid Driver’s License – Code 8 unendorsed.
• Retail clothing experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all warehouse operations and administration.
• Supervise receiving, processing, dispatching and delivery of stock to stores.
• Lead staff and ensure maximum productivity and controllable expenses.
• Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy in all warehouse processes.
• Oversee procurement activities and reporting; part of EXCO team reporting to CEO.
