Job summary

Work Africa is seeking an experienced Logistics – Warehouse Manager for our East London operation. The role covers overseeing receiving, processing, dispatching and delivery of stock to stores, with limited travel as needed.

You will lead warehouse staff, ensure accuracy and efficiency, and report to the CEO as part of the EXCO team. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in a similar role, with a Diploma or certificate in logistics/warehousing and strong MS Office skills.

LOGISTICS – WAREHOUSE MANAGER/ EAST LONDON – The primary role is to oversee and manage all operations and administration of the distribution warehouse inclusive of receiving, processing, dispatching and delivery of stock through to stores. Travel is limited but may occur should there be a business need

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Matric
• Diploma / certificate in logistics / warehousing will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook
• Strong Leadership and proven ability to manage staff and ensure maximum productivity
• Valid Driver’s License – Code 8 unendorsed
• Clothing retail experience will be an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to use own initiative
• Good attention to detail
• Good communication Skills
• Flexibility (regarding working relationships and operational changes)
