You will drive on-time delivery performance, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and partner with HR to recruit, train and retain a high-performance team. The position requires hands-on leadership and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 with Higher Grade Math
• Tertiary degree in Transport or related field (Honours advantageous)
• MS Office (PowerPoint, Projects, Word, Outlook)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) skills
• Accounting software: Microsoft Great Plains – Advanced

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor delivery schedules and optimize kilometers and cost per kilometer.
• Ensure all daily routes are executed per plan via Track Matic and EPOD.
• Manage cross-dock requirements and fuel usage to meet budgets.
• Lead HR activities including staff schedules, certifications, and performance appraisals.
• Ensure vehicle and driver hours are compliant and payroll is processed accurately.
• Maintain reporting timelines and accurate KPI tracking for transport operations.
• Investigate variances, implement countermeasures, and address safety concerns.
• Oversee asset maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are met.
