Placements24 is seeking a Telecom Solutions Architect to lead design of end-to-end telecom solutions from our Pretoria office. The role requires strategic thinking, deep telecom knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable architectures.

The candidate will collaborate with sales, engineering, and client teams to deliver robust, secure, and future-ready networks, leveraging 5G, SD-WAN, MPLS, and cloud services. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, CS, or a related field.
• 10+ years in telecommunications with significant architecture/pre-sales experience.
• In-depth knowledge of 5G, LTE, SD-WAN, MPLS, and Cloud Networking.
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex enterprise telecom solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end telecommunications solutions, encompassing voice, data, mobility, and cloud services.
• Evaluate and select technologies, platforms, and vendor solutions to meet client requirements.
• Create detailed architectural designs, proposals, and technical documentation for complex projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
• Provide expert technical guidance and consultation to sales teams and prospective clients.
• Continuously research emerging trends and technologies to inform solution design.
