Job summary

Vodacom in Midrand seeks a Target Setting and Segmentation Manager: Business Performance to lead design, governance and operationalisation of segmentation frameworks and target-setting. You will translate business objectives into measurable targets and collaborate with executives to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Commerce or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience in commercial analytics, segmentation or target setting within a large organisation.
• Experience translating analytics into practical targets and actions.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern the annual and in-year target-setting process across segments, channels, regions and teams.
• Develop segmentation frameworks using behavioural, value, need-state and demographic data.
• Create allocation models and cascade targets while maintaining governance and audit trails.
• Identify opportunities to optimise targets, account coverage or segmentation with evidence-based recommendations.
