Job summary

Godrej Consumer Products Limited is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Finance Manager to partner with the supply chain and manufacturing teams. You will own the monthly PSO update/CEO pack, drive profit improvement, and provide financial rigour across factory costs, stock returns, freight, capex and inventory controls.

You will collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Sales, presenting insights to the CEO and senior leadership to support strategic decisions and cost-reduction

Qualifications

• CA (South Africa) or CMA qualification required
• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain finance (4–7 years)
• Experience preparing management/CEO-level reporting packs essential
• Strong factory costing, variance analysis and cost-control skills
• Knowledge of IFRS, tax and customs/logistics compliance preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly PSO update/CEO pack with variance commentary, risks and actions
• Build and track profit improvement and savings across supply chain initiatives
• Review factory costs and overheads, analyse variances and support standard costing
• Compute and control stock returns and write-offs with root-cause analysis
• Analyse freight costs by lane, carrier and mode to identify savings
• Support capex budgeting, track spend and review invoices before capitalization
• Participate in capex negotiations and vendor terms to secure best value
• Conduct monthly stock counts and reconcile with books, investigate variances
• Strengthen internal controls and SOPs across supply chain finance processes
• Provide financial inputs for pricing, make-vs-buy, supplier and network decisions
