Job summary

Employment Solutions is seeking a seasoned finance professional to influence supply chain efficiency for a FMCG multinational with a heritage of over 140 years. You will impact cost management, product costing, inventory control, and operational decision-making in a global environment.

You will lead S&OP, drive cost optimization, and coach the supply chain team while aligning strategies with overall business goals. The position demands strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Matric and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or CA(SA).
• 7–10 years of experience in finance.
• At least 3 years of experience within a supply chain or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead the S&OP process and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Manage demand forecasts and improve forecast accuracy.
• Coordinate procurement and replenishment plans to meet demand.
• Oversee inventory levels and optimize stock management, including slow-moving/obsolete stock.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure timely deliveries while optimizing transport costs and service levels.
• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
• Oversee the supply chain budget and working capital.
• Lead and coach the supply chain team to meet department goals.
