Job summary

Multiform Human Development (Pty) Ltd. in the North West Province seeks an experienced Short-Term Insurance Underwriter. You will build client relationships, assess needs and negotiate policy terms with providers, ensuring accurate records and compliance with FSCA requirements.

The role requires a RH5 RE5, matric and a valid code 8 licence with own transport. You will work independently, yet collaborate with the underwriting team to service clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Discuss and assess clients' current and future short-term insurance needs.
• Research policies and stay informed of changes from service providers.
• Negotiate policy terms and costs with providers.
• Arrange insurance cover for clients.
• Keep detailed records on systems.
• Prepare management reports.
• Advise clients on claims and renewals.
• Assist with general administrative duties.
• Support marketing efforts to reach targets.
• Ensure clients are aware of Financial Service offerings.
