Job summary

SBV South Africa in Cape Town is seeking a skilled Logistics Planner to optimise route planning and resource coordination within our operations. You will support the Finance Business Partner’s costing, monitor routes in real time, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ESG requirements.

The role is a temporary position based at Cape Town CBD. Applicants should have at least 3 years’ hands-on experience in route planning, a Bachelor’s degree or 3-year Diploma in Supply Chain Management or

Qualifications

3 years’ experience using route planning software and systems, with 1 year coordinating resources.
Experience in logistics planning and optimisation is essential.
Proficiency with MS Office and data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Advise the Logistics Manager on daily demand and work schedules; validate planned vs actual execution with the control room.
Verify authorisation of unplanned routes and run changes due to constraints.
Coordinate with internal SBV Support and external technology vendors.
Manage data availability, workflow, and service levels with IT.
Analyze trend reports to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
Provide reports per templates and timeframes; support change initiatives.
Align with SBV Services' Quality Management Standards (ISO 9001:2015) and ESG reporting.
Integrate new business, mergers, acquisitions, or outsourcing into existing routes.
