Job summary

One Connect Solutions in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/PMO to support planning, scheduling, risk and governance across complex programmes. You will develop and monitor project plans, manage budgets, track milestones, and prepare weekly reports for management.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Diploma/Degree in Project Administration or similar, and PMI-CAPM or PRINCE2 Foundation is a plus. State-owned enterprise experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Project Administration/PM or equivalent.
• PMI-CAPM or PRINCE2 Foundation; short courses in Excel Advanced, SharePoint Administration, Agile fundamentals are a plus.
• Minimum 3–5 years as a Project Coordinator or PMO Coordinator in a large enterprise.
• Preferred: Experience in State-Owned Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor project plans and schedules.
• Track project milestones, deliverables and deadlines.
• Monitor actual progress against approved project schedules.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks and potential impacts on project delivery.
• Support critical-path and schedule analysis.
• Coordinate project updates with Project Managers and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and cost baselines.
• Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets.
• Track actual costs, commitments, forecasts and remaining project costs.
• Identify and investigate budget variances.
• Prepare cost forecasts and cash-flow projections.
• Support corrective actions to minimise cost overruns.
• Monitor changes, variations and their impact on project costs.
