Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a dedicated Buyer to manage procurement of materials, supplies or equipment. The role requires negotiating deals, researching item options, and maintaining inventory to minimize downtime. A minimum of 2 years in supply chain or procurement and a related degree is preferred; CIPS Level 4 is desirable.

The position is based on site in Boksburg, offering a pathway to lead supplier relationships and drive cost savings across maintenance and spares categories.

Qualifications

• CIPS Level 4 required.
• Four years’ experience in buying/procurement for capex and MRO spares/services.
• FMCG background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate deals with suppliers and ensure competitive pricing.
• Drive supplier SLA discussions and quarterly meetings.
• Manage maintenance and repair spares inventory and stock levels.
• Prepare and review weekly/monthly expenditure reports.
