Job summary

AtripleA recruitment & temps in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Operations Director to provide strategic leadership across national operations, overseeing control room, technical, and operational support functions.

You will drive customer satisfaction, ensure compliance and profitability, manage budgets and teams, and foster governance and continuous improvement while engaging senior clients and stakeholders. PSIRA compliance and incident management expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Diploma or degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• PSIRA Grade A registration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• 8–10 years in the security industry.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior operational management role.
• Experience leading technical, control room, and operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of incident management, compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial skills.
• Experience with high-pressure after-hours environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational, technical, and control room functions.
• Drive operational efficiency, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee incident response, escalation management, and operational risk.
• Ensure compliance with PSIRA, company policies, and client requirements.
• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, GP margins, and cost control.
• Develop, mentor, and lead operational teams to achieve business objectives.
