Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Operations Manager for its Pretoria facility, a senior role driving manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics. You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products while upholding lean principles.

The role requires MBA or engineering degree, 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, budgeting, ERP proficiency, and a track record of improving efficiency in a complex operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in operations management in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; budget management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve objectives and profitability.
• Manage the supply chain, including procurement, inventory control, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure adherence to quality and health and safety standards.
• Lead and mentor the operations team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
