Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Operations Analyst to join their strategic team in Mahikeng with remote flexibility. You will analyze operational data, develop KPI dashboards, and map value streams to identify bottlenecks and waste, collaborating with engineers and managers to drive efficiency and cost reductions.

The role focuses on data-driven operational strategies, requiring a quantitative degree and 2–4 years of experience, with strong Excel/SQL and BI tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-4 years of experience in operations analysis or industrial engineering support roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software (Tableau/Power BI).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Conduct process mapping and value stream analysis to identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to optimize operations.
• Collaborate with operations managers and engineers to implement improvement initiatives.
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
