Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Industrial Analyst to join their Mahikeng team. The role focuses on examining and improving operational processes, production efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through data collection, analysis, and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background in industrial engineering or related fields, with expertise in data analysis tools and lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Industrial Engineering, Statistics, OR or related).
• Minimum 5 years in an analytical role within industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong data analysis tools proficiency (Excel, SQL, statistics software).
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication/presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of production and operational data to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to track performance.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and data-driven approaches to optimize processes.
• Perform time and motion studies to evaluate task efficiency and opportunities for optimization.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings and recommendations for management in Mahikeng.
• Collaborate with operations teams to support implementation of changes and monitor impact.
