Job summary

South African Postbank SOC Limited seeks an MIS & Reporting Manager to lead the organisation's MIS, reporting and operational analytics across assigned domains. You will translate strategic priorities into an integrated portfolio, define standards and governance, and manage a team of eight to deliver accurate, auditable information to executives and regulators.

The role requires senior leadership, stakeholder engagement, strong data governance and a focus on regulatory reporting, with oversight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/technology field (NQF Level 7)
• Honours/Masters degree in related fields (NQF Level 8/9) is ideal
• 8+ years in MIS, reporting, data analytics or BI with cross-functional ownership
• 5+ years in managerial or portfolio-leading roles over analysts or delivery resources
• Experience in the Banking industry is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead MIS, reporting and analytics strategy across enterprise domains
• Own the reporting delivery portfolio including executive, regulatory and ad hoc streams
• Define reporting standards, data definitions, and governance controls
• Manage a team of eight reporting and analytics resources
• Present insights and risk trends to senior stakeholders
• Oversee data lineage, quality, reconciliation and auditability
• Coordinate cross-functional reporting dependencies with BI, data engineering and risk functions
• Ensure timely, accurate and auditable reporting outputs to governance forums
