Job summary

TFG Limited’s Sneaker Factory in South Africa seeks an Allocator and Merchandise Assistant to implement the merchandise strategy alongside Planners and Buyers. You will manage stock levels, analyze store performance and coordinate with suppliers, stores and the Distribution Centre to keep deliveries on track.

This dual role requires numeracy, a strategic mindset, and strong communication. You will visit stores, support pricing and sizing decisions, and help drive measurable results across our

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• Proven working experience as an Allocator (3+ years).
• A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work.
• Excels at data analysis and the ability to draw inferences.
• Strong business acumen and merchant thinking.

Responsibilities

• Working with Planners and Buyers to fully implement the Merchandise Strategy.
• Dual role, working as an Allocator and Merchandise assistant.
• Store and merchandise-related (style and sizing) analysis.
• Liaising with suppliers, stores and the Distribution Centre regarding stock levels, deliveries and general queries.
• Monitoring the delivery of stock and take appropriate action.
• Effective communication with stores & Operations.
• Monitoring product performance to take appropriate action.
• Regular store visits where appropriate.
