Placements24 in Welkom is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize supply chain operations. You will oversee transportation, warehousing, and inventory, driving efficiency and cost control across the end-to-end process.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in logistics, strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage complex supply chains within the Free State region. This role offers growth and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in logistics and supply chain management.
• Experience managing transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
• Strong negotiation with carriers and 3PLs.
• Analytical with Welkom logistics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies for transport, warehousing and inventory.
• Oversee daily logistics operations ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and 3PLs for favorable terms.
• Monitor KPIs related to efficiency, cost, and delivery accuracy.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team in Welkom.
